Jon Montenegro is an Art Director/Interactive Designer and Developer from Allentown, PA. Beginning his career after Temple University, Tyler School of Art, he worked in several companies such as Prolog Internet Service, Imirage, Allentown, PA, Daytimers, Allentown, PA, Digitalwave, Huntingdon Valley, PA, ZigZag, Philadelphia, PA and IGCN Inc., Easton PA Jon also works as Art Director and Interactive Designer for Variousways Inc., and continues to art direction, Flash design and application development and print.

Jon has been involved in many collaborative art and design projects. He has been a web site critique contributor for Cre@te Online Magazine, a member of Rhizome.org, an online platform for the global new media art community. He has contributed collaborative work for Born Magazine an experimental venue marrying literary arts and interactive media. Jon has participated in The Mobile Phone Photo Show (MPPS), Where participants from around the world to send in photographs taken with their mobile phones. He is also involved in Gecko9, an experimental hub for visual inspiration, thoughts and resources.
Jon is also curator of S19.Afflatus Project, a project that promotes visual and interactive art in mobile devices, such as cell phones, PDA, Pocket PC, Palm and convergence devices.
Outside of his professional work, Jon likes snowboarding, surfing, billiards, foosball, tae kwon do, kendo and iaido.
